Grover Jr. Wombles , 67, of Manchester, was born April 22nd, 1947, and passed away Monday, June 16th, 2014 at his home.
He is survived by one son, Grover Jr. Wombles, two daughters, Edna French, and Phyllis Shultz, along with 3 grandchildren.
He is also survived by these brothers and sisters, David "Blue" Wombles and wife Carol, Darrell Boggs and wife Sherrie, Jim Boggs, Ronnie Boggs, Roy Boggs, Ella Pearl Curry and husband Jack, Jeanie Roberts, and Tammy Powell, all of Manchester, along with a special niece, Mechelle Roberts, and a special nephew, Rodney Curry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Edna Wombles, and one sister, Phyllis Ann Swafford.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Grover Jr. Wombles will be held 2 PM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Cecil Benge and Terry Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Herd Cemetery on Horse Creek. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
