George Gibson, 72, of Manchester passed away Wednesday July 23rd, 2014 at his home.
He is survived by his wife Mae Gibson, and the following children: Jewell Dean Caudill and husband James, Garrard, Fern Hacker and husband Keith, London, Gladys Henson and Husband Bill, Garrard, and Betty Wagers of Garrard, as well as one sister Omie Henson, Garrard.
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Lidge and Axie Gibson, his Son, George Wayne Gibson, his daughter Vickie Gibson, and two grandchildren, Regina Marie Wagers and Rebbecca Lynn Wagers, and the following brothers and sisters: James C. Gibson, Hiram Gibson, Delbert Gibson, Lane Gibson, and Nicie Wagers.
The Funeral Service will be held 3 PM Saturday July 26th, 2014 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Youel Napier Officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Henson Cemetery at Manchester. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.
