Charles Hensley, 94, of Manchester, was born November 15th, 1919, and passed away September 15th, 2014 at his home.
He is survived by his children, Teddy Hensley and wife Opal, of Fogertown, Chad Hensley and wife Arlene, of Middlesboro, Wayne Hensley and wife Diane, of London, J.D. Hensley and wife Billie Jo, of Somerset, Donald Hensley and wife Carolan, of London, Bobbie Jean Couch of Elk Creek, Linda Couch, of Elk Creek, Joyce Collins and husband Bart, of London, Evelyn Ledford and husband Randy, of Elk Creek, along with 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maude Hensley, one grandson Eric Collins, one great great grandson, four brothers, Paul Hensley, Silas Hensley, Felix Farmer, Taylor Hensley, two sisters, Dorothy Philpot, and Nell Baker.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Charles Hensley will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 17th, 2014 at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Curtis Wagers and Michael Ledford. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home
