Rebecca A. Smith, 61, of Girdler, was born March 3rd, 1953, and passed away, October 4th, 2014 at the University of Ky. Medical Center in Lexington.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Jr. Smith of Girdler, two daughters, Connie Batchelor and husband David of Kokomo, IN, Crystal Collins of Artemus, four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sparks, Jacob Batchelor, Shelby Collins, Joseph Batchelor, and these brothers and sisters, John Lawson, Pete Lawson, David Lawson, Earl Lawson, Curtis Lawson, Marvin Lawson, Dorothy Warren, Cledith Smith, and Lucy Sutti.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Mary Lawson, one brother, Dewey Lawson, and one sister, Arlene Lawson.
Funeral services for Rebecca A. Smith will be held 11AM Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Henson and Sill Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery at Big Creek.
Visitation will be after 6PM Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 at the Britton Funeral Home.
