Phil Asher, 86, of Manchester, passed away Thursday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his son Robert Asher and wife Judy of Manchester, and these sisters and brother: Clara Dobbs, Viralee Gibbs, and Elmer Asher, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Loma Asher, his parents, Dock and Goldie Asher, his son Larry Asher, and these brothers and sisters: Anna Lee York, Oda Mae Abner, Albert Asher, and Letcher Asher.
The funeral service will be held 11 AM Sunday at the Antioch Baptist Church with W.R. Mann Cobb and Scott Hammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher Cemetery at Manchester. Visitation will be after 4 PM Saturday at the church.
