Denver "Joe" Henson was born September 15th, 1945. He departed this life on November 6th, 2014 at the age of 69.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Flora Henson and one sister Ethel Henson. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Omie" Henson and the following children and step children Larry Henson, Donald Henson, Selena Shepard, Jerry Henson, Melinda Mills, Wilma Henson, Elmer Gibson, Vada Wagers, Sharon Smith, all of Manchester, and two adopted children Joseph Henson and Amber Cope also of Manchester.
He is also survived by one brother Herman Henson of Manchester and one sister Kathleen Gibson of Harrodsburg, KY. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
The funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday November 10th, 2014 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl Henson, Sill Lee, Rick Holt, Dudley Lynch, and Ebb Potter officiating. Burial will follow in the Henson Cemetery at Lockards Creek.Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home.
