Mrs. Ersa Lavonne “Von” Minton, age 63 of Minton Branch Road in Manchester went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Wednesday, February 28, 1951 in Clay County to the union of Marion and Mona Parks Jones. She was a bus monitor for the Clay County Board of Education and a member of the New Home Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Herbert “Tip” Minton, her son: Sean Minton, her daughter: Cheree Minton Crowe and her husband Carter, her granddaughter: Landry Crowe, her sister: Louise Goins and her husband Dan, her step mother: Rosie Jones and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ersa Lavonne “Von” Minton will be conducted on Tuesday, December 2, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Darrell Bargo and Rev. Roy Crawford will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
