Mr. Paul H. Owens, age 56 of Little Wildcat departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on Thursday, January 23, 1958 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Daniel B. and Perlina Hornsby Owens. He was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church and retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Phyllis Jones Owens, his sons: Paul Samuel Owens and Larry Douglas Owens, and his grandchildren: Destiny Inabnitt, Sarah Owens, and Ciera Owens. Also surviving are the following siblings: Charles Owens and his wife Carol, Douglas Owens and his wife Frances, Earl Owens and his wife Bessie, Alex Owens and his wife Linda, Roger Owens, William Owens and his wife Dawn, Lucy Wilson and her husband Paul, Glenna Sizemore, Florence Roark, and Della Smith and her husband Amos.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Daniel B. and Perlina Owens, his grandson: Andrew Eugene Owens, his sisters: Mary Katherine Owens and Anna Frazier and his brother: James Owens.
Funeral Services for Mr. Paul H. Owens will be conducted on Saturday, January 10, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William Owens and Rev. Wendell Carmack will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Valley Cemetery in the Tobacco Road Community of Laurel Creek.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
