They married in London, Kentucky on October 20, 1960 and shared 60 years of marriage together. Elvis was born in Blackwater, Laurel County, Kentucky on December 8, 1941; he was the son of John S. Wyatt and Edna Cobb Wyatt. He graduated from Lily High School in 1960 and enlisted in the Air Force the same year. He served his country for 20 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
