Melanie Anne Costa left this earth for a heavenly hone in her home in Lexington, Kentucky on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the age of 34. She was born in Lafayette, Indiana at St. Elizabeth Hospital in 1985 to Timothy C. Jones and Kelly (Riley) McFall. Melanie attended Attica High School and played softball, basketball and was a member of the Flag Corp. She had 3 children: Wesley, Kiera and Christian, who were the love of her life. She married Brian Costa, her best friend in 2015.
Larry Asher, 72, of Manchester, KY, passed away Saturday, June 6th, at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital. Larry was born in Beverly, KY on June 27, 1947, a son of the late Polly (Smith) and Lewis Asher. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
James Ellis Ray, age 78, of Manchester, passed away Saturday, June 6th, at his home.
Gloria Annette Ellenburg age 64 of Barbourville departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2020 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. She was the daughter of Clinton Mills and Geneva (Sizemore) Mills born to them on April 1, 1956 in Pineville, Kentucky. Gloria enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, shopping and dining out. She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.
Virgil Hoskins, 67, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 2nd, at his home. Virgil was born in Hyden, KY on November 22, 1952, a son of the late Lucy (Bowling) and Burton Hoskins.
Ronald W. Hensley
Mr. Ronald W. Hensley, age 73 departed this life on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his home. He was born on Friday, April 18, 1947 in Oneida, Kentucky to Herschel and Magdalene VanOver Hensley. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1965 where he was assigned to the 18th Fighter Wing on Okinawa for 18 months during 1966 and 1967, in direct support of the Vietnam War. Ronald was awarded and received the USAF Good Conducted Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Ronald was honorably discharged in 1968. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7606 and also a life member of the DAV Chapter 137 of Manchester. After discharge from the military, Ronald worked for the Kentucky Highway Department district office in Manchester until his retirement in 1992.
Betty Lou Gray, 69, of Goose Rock, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 2nd, at her home.
