Carole Hillard Schenkenfelder was born on November 27, 1960 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She is the daughter of the late Byron Hillard and Laura Dale Hays Hillard. She was united in marriage to Joseph L. Schenkenfelder who survives of London, Kentucky.
Barbara Napier, age 66 of Vandalia OH passed away Thursday March 5, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton.
Barbara graduated from Vandalia Butler, completed her office Assistant training at Sawyer School of Business and attended Miami Valley school of nursing. Barbara enjoyed working for many years as a medical assistant for Dr. M E Gibson. She loved being a chauffeur for her family taking them on many trips to Nashville TN, Cumberland Falls KY, Reds games, local Kenley plays, and many country music concerts. She also loved to shop for gifts for her family.
Teresa Cann, age 56, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2019 at her home of Beattyville, KY. Teresa was born May 23, 1963, in Richmond, KY, a daughter to Donna (Bowman) Cann, and the late Mike Cann. She was an administrator for Paris Independent School, and in her free-time she enjoyed golf, fishing, shooting, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, traveling, sports, and the University of Kentucky Wildcats! She was a member of The Prodigal’s House (Disciples of Christ), as well as a member of the National Rifle Association, the Kentucky Education Association and National Teachers Association.
Raleigh Estep, age 73 of Manchester departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1946 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of James and Nellie Sizemore Estep. He was an auto mechanic.
Mr. James Dolan Cornelius (aka "Monkey") age 38 of Gray, Kentucky departed this life on March 3, 2020 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of Gary and Doreen (Tidwell) Cornelius, born to them on May 23, 1981.
Music formed the essence of James's life. He spent many years in the Knox Central Band and playing with both University of Kentucky and Lincoln Memorial University pep bands. He influenced many young musicians through his involvement with area band programs. James was also involved with the London Community Orchestra as a percussionist.
Mr. Paul Edward Cordell, Jr. "Eddie" was born August 25, 1950 in Morganton, North Carolina. He was the son of the late, Paul Edward Cordell, Sr. & Pearl Causbey Cordell. Eddie passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY at the age of 69. He had been a resident of Hyden since 2004, having lived in North Carolina prior to moving to Hyden. He was a technician on knitting machinery in the clothing industry.
