I used to think that politics weren’t my thing. I never ran for a political office, and I doubted I ever would. BUT…after working in public policy for several years, I realize that what does matter…are my Constitutional rights. And if I am committed to protecting my constitutional freedoms…as best I can…for as long as I can, then I have a responsibility to vote.
The fact that Congressman Hal Rogers, who represents you, voted for Red Flag Laws by supporting H.R. 2471 and voted multiple times to expand gun control should really concern you. That is, if the 2nd Amendment matters to you.
Did you know that Congressman Rogers earned an “F” on his liberty score? His failing grade definitely sends the message that he doesn’t value freedom as much as you and I do.
I am very grateful for the men and women who have served this great country in the armed forces, making significant sacrifices to fight for my liberties. If you were among these men and women, it is with the utmost respect and gratitude that I say, “Thank you!”
The least I can do to honor you and the other heroes who have served on my behalf is to exercise my freedom to vote, ensuring that I vote for someone who will protect my constitutional freedoms. I beg you to do the same.
