Congressman Rogers of Kentucky Votes for Stop-Gap Funding Bill to Keep the Government Open

WASHINGTON, DC -- The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bipartisan stop-gap funding bill on Saturday to avoid a government shutdown, providing an additional 45 days for Congress to finalize funding bills for fiscal year 2024. The Continuing Appropriations Act (H.R. 5860) passed by a vote of 335-91, funding the government through November 17, 2023.
