Toxicology Lab Owner in Lexington, Kentucky Pleads Guilty to Health Care Fraud and Tax Evasion; Lab Officer Pleads Guilty to Health Care Fraud

LEXINGTON, KY – The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that the owner and CEO of a Lexington toxicology lab, Ronald Coburn, 76, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, before Chief U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves, to health care fraud and tax evasion.  The compliance officer of the same lab, Erica Baker, 31, pleaded guilty on Friday to a health care fraud conspiracy with Coburn.

FATAL SHOOTING AT A RESIDENCE ON U.S. HIGHWAY 421 IN CLAY COUNTY, KENTUCKY

MANCHESTER, KY -  The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at approximately 1:45 A.M., KSP Post 11, London was notified of a shooting on U.S. 421 N in Manchester. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office initially responded to the scene and requested KSP assistance.

LONDON, KY (September 16, 2023) – On Sept. 14, Lt. Governor Coleman and the Kentucky State Police (KSP) honored 76 troopers and officers who wear the badge of honor to serve and protect Kentucky's 120 with a mission of creating a better, safer Kentucky.

The awards presented were for acts of bravery and service that occurred in 2022. Two troopers from the KSP Post 11, London area were included in those honors.
