LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Robert C. Burkhart age 47 of East Bernstadt on Monday night October 4, 2021 at approximately 10:10 PM.

PRESTONSBURG, KY - On Monday, October 4, 2021 at 3:31 A.M. the Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post received a 911 call regarding a stabbing in Floyd County. KSP investigators responded to a residence on State Road Fork and discovered a male had been stabbed.
