LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brian France along with Deputy Bobby Jones arrested two individuals on Cherry Avenue approximately 10 miles South of London early Sunday morning July 10, 2022 at approximately 5:53 AM.

SOMERSET, KY (July 12, 2022) - Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck reports the arrest of Andrea Johnson, age 35 of Science Hill, Kentucky by Deputy Tan Hudson following the report of a female on the side of the road supposedly changing a child’s diaper. At approximately 4:25 AM this morning, Deputy Tan Hudson was dispatched by 911 Dispatch to a complaint that someone saw a female who had a child laid on the side of the road changing a diaper.

ASHLAND, KY (July 12, 2022) – A Morehead, Ky., man, and former Eastern Kentucky Correctional Center (EKCC) officer, Derek A. Mays, 32, pleaded guilty to an information on Monday, before U.S. District Judge David Bunning, admitting to four counts of obstruction of justice.

BERLIN, MD (July 12, 2022) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian hit and run crash that claimed the life of a fourteen year-old boy in Worcester County.
