They advised they had received a complaint around 4:25 pm of multiple individuals being swept away in a swollen tributary crossing a low water bridge.
MANCHESTER, KY (April 29, 2020) – The Kentucky State Police, London Post, was contacted just after 2:30 pm yesterday afternoon in reference to a shooting that took place on Crane Creek Road in Clay County. KSP Post 11 Troopers responded to the scene, and learned that two family members were involved in altercation, which led to one person being injured by a gunshot.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced today that the University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health will receive $3,878,582 to bolster the healthcare efforts of 46 rural hospitals in combating the coronavirus pandemic. These federal funds, distributed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration, were made available by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Senator McConnell introduced the CARES Act, which became the largest economic relief package in history, and led it to enactment in about a week.
MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on April 27, 2020 at approximately 4:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Detective Jeff Kelsey along with Sheriff Patrick Robinson, Deputy Paul Whitehead, CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb, CSO Deputy Darrell Goins and CSO Deputy Shawn Curry arrested Jeremy Smith, 36 of South Highway 421.
