Complaint leads to arrest of wanted subject by LSO deputy


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Brad Mink arrested Darrel Holt age 25 of Hwy 490, East Bernstadt on Friday morning November 4, 2016 at approximately 7 AM.

The arrest occurred off Lamero Cruise road, approximately 11 miles north of London after Deputy Mink was dispatched to a complaint that a vehicle was blocking the roadway there.

When Deputy Mink arrived at the scene he located this individual standing beside his vehicle and conducted an investigation and learned that this subject was wanted on outstanding warrants of arrest. In addition, this subject was found in possession of a glass pipe.

Darrel Holt was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. This subject was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense and possession of a controlled substance.

Also this subject was charged on another Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of operating a suspended or revoked operator's license and numerous other traffic violations.

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
