Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Cody Faulconer along with Deputy Charlie Johnson and Deputy Gary Mehler arrested James White age 22 of Lynn Acres Rd., Corbin on Saturday evening November 12, 2016 at approximately 5:17 PM.
The arrest occurred off Lynn Acres Road approximately 9 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that this subject had allegedly shoved his girlfriend down several times, strangled her, and struck her in the face--this victim had red marks on the side of her face and neck.
In addition, while investigating deputies also learned that this subject had allegedly struck his girlfriend's eight-year-old daughter during the altercation – allegedly he had shoved her down, got on top of her and strangled her-- saying it's all your fault – this victim had red marks on her back and on her throat.
James White was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and assault – fourth degree – child abuse and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
