Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Donald Howard age 55 of Overbey Ln., Apartments, London on Monday night November 14, 2016 at approximately 10:03 PM.

The arrest occurred on Ray Overbey Road in London after this subject was observed driving a white colored Pontiac grand am with an expired registration plate. A traffic stop was conducted and it was determined that the registration plate had been surrendered.
In addition, it was determined that this subject was operating on a suspended operator's license and also was wanted on outstanding bench warrants.
Donald Howard was charged with no registration plates; operating on suspended or revoked operators license; failure to produce insurance card; and possession of marijuana. In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court for a motion to revoke for failed drug screens regarding charges of possession of a controlled substance – first offense – second-degree.
Also this subject was wanted on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest on charges of failure to appear in court for a motion to revoke for positive drug screens regarding charges of possession of a controlled substance – third-degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
