London, KY - On Friday, December 02, 2016 at approximately 11:30 PM, Troopers from Post 11 executed a search warrant at a residence on Day Street in Brodhead, KY in Rockcastle County.
Trooper James Royal obtained the search warrant based upon information he received during a traffic stop for the residence of Gary L. Day, 51, of Brodhead. During the search Troopers located approximately 12.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine and $56,733 in US currency.
Day, was cited to court due to a medical condition and was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense.
Trooper Royal is continuing the investigation. He was assisted by Troopers from Post 11, Officers with Livingston Police Department and Mount Vernon Police Department.
