Whitley County Sheriff Colan J. Harrell is proud to announce the promotion of Deputy James Fox to the rank of Sergeant.
Sgt. Fox entered law enforcement in 2013, served as Chief of Police in the city of Lynch, Kentucky and joined the Whitley Co. Sheriff’s Department in 2015.
Sgt. Fox has served as a K9 handler and graduated from Kentucky’s Department of Criminal Justice Training with an accommodation from his instructors and was recognized for physical fitness with what officers often call the “Fit for Duty” award.
