Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Kathy J. Osborne age 39 of Mud Lick Road, Manchester on Tuesday night January 8, 2019 at approximately 6:51 PM.
The arrest occurred off Slate lick Road, approximately 2 miles north of London after Deputy Mehler was dispatched to a domestic dispute – disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Mehler encountered the female complainant walking around outside the residence and noted that she appeared to be under the influence.
An investigation was conducted and it was determined that the complaint she phoned in was unfounded. In addition, this subject was determined to be under the influence and stated that she had smoked meth earlier in the evening. She was also found in possession of pills.
In addition, the owner of the residence stated that she had been advised to not be back on the property there.
Kathy J. Osborne was charged with falsely reporting an incident; criminal trespassing – third-degree; possession of a controlled substance; public intoxication – controlled substances.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
