Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy John Wright, Deputy Travis Napier, and Deputy Joey Robinson investigated a three vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on US 25 at the intersection of Lily School Road, approximately 5 miles South of London on Monday afternoon January 29, 2019 at approximately 4:15 PM.
Angela Wagers of Manchester, Ky. was the driver and only occupant of this Chevrolet Equinox, she was transported to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment
Harold Sizemore of Keavy, Ky. was the driver and only occupant of this dark blue Chevrolet Malibu, he was transported to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment.
The investigating deputies report that apparently a dark blue Chevrolet Malibu was stopped on Lily School Road and attempted a left turn onto US 25 to travel northbound. This vehicle apparently pulled out in front of the path of a maroon colored Chevrolet Equinox traveling southbound on US 25 and a black colored Chevrolet Tahoe traveling northbound on US 25.
The dark blue Malibu collided first with the maroon Chevrolet Equinox and then collided with the black Chevrolet Tahoe.
The drivers were identified as:
Jeffery Goforth was the driver and only occupant of the black colored Chevrolet Tahoe (pictured left) – Stated "not injured" and was not transported
Assisting at the scene of the crash was London Laurel Rescue Squad and Lily Volunteer Fire Department.
