HOUSTON, TX. (June 27, 2019) – Kentucky State Police is one of ten states nationally recognized at The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) Region 2 Conference on June 26, 2019.
KSP received three awards in the Public Affairs and Consumer Education (PACE) and Community Service Recognition categories. The awards include:
Photography Category

Non-Media Event Category
For nearly 12 years, KSP has provided a safe, fun alternative to traditional “trick or treating.” The KSP Safe Trick or Treat event serves as an outreach tool for the agency and is an effective example of positive community engagement.
Community Service Recognition Award
The concept of the Trooper Teddy Project is for troopers to provide an item of security to children during traumatic experiences or illness through the form of stuffed animal.
Fully sustained through and is fully sustained through donations and individual sales (of the teddy bears), this project does not utilize state tax dollars.
