Complaint leads to the arrest of a Manchester woman on South Highway 421

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on July 19, 2019 at approximately 8:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard arrested Nancy Reid, 32 of Manchester.

The arrest occurred when Deputy Gabbard received an anonymous complaint of a female individual trying to sell illegal substances on South Highway 421.

Deputy Gabbard made contact with the female subject walking alongside the road on South Highway 421, through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence of intoxicants.

Upon search of incident Deputy Gabbard located a plastic baggie of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on the person of the subject. 

Nancy Reid was charged with:

  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) 
  • Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
