Laurel County, Ky. (September 8, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Joey Robinson along with Deputy Hunter Disney, Deputy Brent France, and Sgt. Greg Poynter arrested Vincent E. Caldwell age 48 of Mount Vernon, KY on Friday night September 6, 2019 at approximately 7:50 PM.
The arrest occurred off Sally's Branch Road, approximately 4 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
While deputies were enroute to the scene they learned that the suspect had allegedly left the scene in a Toyota Tacoma.
Deputy Robinson located the vehicle while enroute to the scene while other deputies learned from the victim and neighbors that there had been an alleged assault there.
A female victim had visible physical injuries.
Vincent Caldwell was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
