Man arrested for Meth & Clay bench warrant during Traffic Stop

Laurel County, Ky. (October 2, 2019) -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner along with Deputy Brent France arrested Cecil Sizemore age 43 of Brushy Lane, London on Tuesday evening October 1, 2019 at approximately 5:56 PM.

The arrest occurred on US 25 approximately 4 miles north of London after Deputy Turner conducted a traffic stop on a white colored Cadillac vehicle that failed to signal a turn.

During the traffic stop, it was learned that this individual had an outstanding warrant.

Upon arrest this individual was found in possession of a crystal like substance which field-tested to be Methamphetamine.

Cecil Sizemore was charged with;

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine

In addition, the subject was charged on a Clay District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:

  • Failure to appear in court on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
  • Numerous other traffic violations

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional
Center.
