Clay County, Ky. (October 3, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on October 3, 2019 at approximately 1:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley arrested Kenneth Smith, 47 of Arrowhead Court.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Brumley was dispatched to a complaint inside the Arrowhead Court of an intoxicated male trying to kick down a door.
Upon arrival Deputy Brumley came into contact with the male subject who was extremely intoxicated staggering in the roadway.
Through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence of alcohol, while being placed under arrest the subject attempted to pull away from Deputy Brumley but was placed under arrest without further incident.
Kenneth Smith was charged with:
• Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 3rd or more Offense
• Disorderly Conduct, 2nd Degree
• Resisting Arrest
