Laurel County, Ky. (October 16, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Joey Robinson arrested Tina Renée Peters age 46 of Waco, KY on Saturday afternoon October 12, 2019 at approximately 1:20 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Robinson conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly this individual attempted to leave the store with $294.26 worth of merchandise and attempted to show an old receipt to the door clerk.
This individual was also determined to be under the influence. In addition, it was learned that this individual had been trespassed from Walmart on three different prior cases.
Tina Renée Peters was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
