Garrard, Ky. (October 16, 2019) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On Wednesday, October 16, 2019 Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson, CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb, SRO Kendric Smith and Manchester City Police Officer Antonio Dodson recovered two stolen guitars that were taken from the Garrard Holiness Church on Thursday, October 10, 2019.
The recovery took place when Sheriff Robinson was notified that a citizen had found an electric guitar alongside the railroad tracks on Ham Hollow Road approximately half a mile from the Garrard Holiness Church.
Sheriff Robinson located the other guitars laying in a covered brushy area.
The guitars have been turned back over to the Garrard Holiness Church.
Sheriff Robinson would like to thank the citizen who found the guitar and took it back to the church when he first located it.
