Clay County, Ky. (October 21, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on October 19, 2019 at approximately 11:20 PM Clay County Sheriff Detective Jeff Kelsey arrested Roy Gilbert, 42 of Left Fork Billys Branch Road.
The arrest occurred when Det. Kelsey was dispatched to a Domestic Assault.
Upon arrival Det. Kelsey came into contact with a female victim who stated the above mentioned subject had physically assaulted her.
Due to witness statements the above mentioned subject was placed under arrest without incident.
Roy Gilbert was charged with:
• Assault, 4th Degree (Domestic Violence)
