MANCHESTER, KY (November 13, 2019) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on November 9, 2019 at approximately 11:00 AM Clay County Sheriff K9 Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested Angela Lovins, 28 of Manchester.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Edwards came into contact with the above mentioned subject on Highway 80.
During the investigation the above mentioned subject attempted to flee on foot and after a brief foot pursuit the subject was apprehended while being placed under arrest she became aggressive and combative toward Deputy Edwards. The subject was then placed under arrest without further incident.
Angela Lovins was charged with:
• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Resisting Arrest
• Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree (On Foot)
