LONDON, KY (January 17, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Investigators with the Laurel County Sheriff's office arrested 7 individuals on Thursday afternoon January 16, 2020 at approximately 1:50 P.M. while investigating a drug complaint at Corbin Manor Apartments off American Greeting Card Road, approximately 9 miles South of London.
While conducting their investigation, investigators found individuals in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, persons under the influence, persons wanted on outstanding warrants, and persons trespassed from there. Those arrested were identified as:
• William Kyle Morgan age 30 of Davenport Ln., Lily charged with criminal trespass – first-degree; disorderly conduct – second-degree; wanton endangerment – second-degree; possession of marijuana.
• Jeremy William Martin age 33 of Corbin Manor Apartments, Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances.
• Casey Burnett Green age 24 of Bailey Hollow Rd., Gray, KY charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; disorderly conduct – second-degree; possession of marijuana; prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense.
• Bridgett Nicole Newsome age 28 of Knox St., Barbourville, KY charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; disorderly conduct – second-degree; possession of marijuana; prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense.
• Rose Andrea Hobbs age 24 of Corbin Manor Apartments, Corbin charged with criminal trespass – first-degree; Public intoxication – controlled substances; disorderly conduct – second-degree; wanton endangerment – second-degree; possession of marijuana. a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of assault – 4th degree; wanton endangerment – second-degree.
• Bridgett Nicole Morgan age 31 of Corbin Manor Apartments, Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of marijuana.
• Natasha Nicole Jones age 31 of Lon Chadwell Rd., Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of marijuana.
All arrested individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Several children were located there at Corbin Manor in the custody of intoxicated arrested individuals. Social services was called to assist in placing the children elsewhere.
Sheriff's investigators included: Capt. Kevin Berry, Detective Kyle Gray, Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Hunter Disney, Sgt. Brett Reeves, Deputy Robert Reed, Deputy Travis Napier, Deputy James Fox, Bailiff Roy Ball, and Bailiff Jacklyn Johnson.
