LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Joey Robinson along with K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Daniel Hornsby age 32 of Parker Rd., London on Saturday night Feb. 22nd, 2020 at approximately 10:29 PM.
The arrest occurred off Johnson Road, approximately 5 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a physical domestic violence complaint.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies could hear a disturbance inside the residence and the sounds of someone being choked.
Deputies made entry to the residence and noted that the suspect had his hands around the female victim’s neck choking her.
Deputies gave commands to the individual to stop however the individual continued assaulting the female victim there. Deputies took control of the male suspect placing him under arrest.
Daniel Hornsby was charged with:
- Strangulation – second-degree
- Assault – 4th degree
- Resisting arrest
- Menacing
- Public intoxication – Controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
