Manchester woman & 2 Laurel residents arrested during Investigation at Traffic Stop

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Landry Collett and Sgt. John Inman arrested three individuals early Thursday morning February 27, 2020 at approximately 2:21 AM.

The arrest occurred on Lake View Road, approximately 6 miles north of London following a traffic stop conducted on a red Cadillac passenger vehicle.

During the stop it was learned that the driver was operating on a suspended license. In addition, following an investigation the driver and two passengers were determined to be under the influence.

The three arrested individuals were identified as :

The driver - Brittany Ann Gregory age 35 of East Bernstadt charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
  • Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
  • Failure to signal
  • Failure to wear seatbelts
  • Other violations

A passenger - Heather L. Hobbs age 31 of Manchester charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances – this subject was observed with a powder residue in her nostril and admitted snorting Klonopin earlier. (Additional charges will be filed)

Another passenger - Tony Harrison age 49 of East Bernstadt charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • No seatbelt
