LONDON, KY - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: Sheriff John Root arrested Vivian Hutchinson age 37 of Brodhead, KY on Wednesday afternoon March 18, 2020 at approximately 2:16 PM.
The arrest occurred on Chaney Ridge Road, approximately 4 miles north of London after Sheriff Root conducted a traffic stop on a black colored Ford Fusion that he met on the roadway traveling on the wrong side of the road.
During the stop, the driver was determined to be under the influence and was found with an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle.
The driver, Vivian Hutchinson was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
