LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Anthony Lee Carr age 53 of London on Wednesday night March 25, 2020 at approximately 9:45 PM.
The arrest occurred off KY 638 approximately 1/10 mile east of London after Deputy Mehler was dispatched to a complaint of a man threatening to kill several people.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that the suspect had left the scene but was located nearby.
An investigation was conducted and this subject was determined to be under the influence.
Anthony Lee Carr was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Terroristic threatening – third-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
