MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on April 4, 2020 at approximately 1:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Cody Blackwell arrested Cecil Jones, 33 of Lost Fork Road.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Blackwell served a Clay County Warrant of Arrest on the above mentioned subject on Rices Fork Road.
The arrest warrant resulted in an investigation conducted by Clay County Sheriff Detective Jeff Kelsey when the above mentioned subject on April 3, 2020 had used a board and struck a male victim in the head causing him to be airlifted to UK Medical Center.
Cecil Jones was charged with:
• Assault 1st Degre
Detective Kelsey is in charge of the investigation.
