WILLIAMSBURG, KY - On Friday, May 15, 2020 the Whitley County Health Department posted the following alert on Facebook regarding recent drug overdoses.
Overdose Alert! It has been reported to the Whitley County Health Department that there have been 6 overdoses in Whitley County within the last two days, including 2 fatalities.
We do not know the details, but we are aware that other areas in Kentucky have experienced a recent increase in overdoses related to a potential bad batch of pressed pills meant to look like Xanax or Percocet.
