BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Friday June 12, 2020 at 3:00 PM a woman, identified as 35 year old Samantha Sizemore-Asher of Woolum, Kentucky entered the Knox County Ky. Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies Elijah Broughton and Sgt. Carl Frith determined that Sizemore-Asher was determined to be manifestly under the influence.
She was advised she was under arrest for public intoxication and replied “Hell no, I’m not going to jail”.
She actively resisted arrest, yelling and cursing at deputies, and had to be carried to Deputy Broughton’s patrol car.
Samantha Sizemore-Asher was charged with:
- Resisting arrest
- Disorderly conduct - 1st degree
- Public intoxication
This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center
