LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor arrested Julie M. Wagers age 38 of Middletown, Ohio early Sunday morning June 14, 2020 at approximately 2:34 AM.
The arrest occurred on KY 192 in London when Deputy Taylor conducted a traffic stop on a gold colored Mercedes-Benz that was weaving on the roadway and had an expired registration plate.
During the traffic stop Deputy Taylor noted detecting the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver and conducted an investigation determining that she was under the influence. It was also determined that this subject had a suspended operator's license.
In addition, this subject was found in possession of suspected LSD.
Julie Wagers was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Reckless driving
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- License to be in possession
- Improper equipment
- No registration plates
- Failure of nonowner operator to maintain required insurance – first offense
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – LSD
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
