Melanie Azizpour/Clay County Detention Center
MANCHESTER, KY (July 6, 2020) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On July 6, 2020 Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones along with Sheriff Patrick Robinson arrested Melanie Azizpour, 44 of North Highway 421.
The arrest occurred when Chief Deputy Jones was dispatched to AdventHealth Manchester of a possible stabbing that happened on North Highway 421.
Through investigation it was determined that the above mentioned subject had stabbed the victim in the early morning hours earlier this date.
The above mentioned subject was located at a residence on North Highway 421 and arrested without incident.
Melanie Azizpour was charged with:
• Assault, 2nd Degree
