LONDON, KY (August 8,2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root and Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith teamed up to investigate a Methamphetamine drug case after information was developed on the transportation of approximately 1/2 pound of Crystal Meth from Louisville, Kentucky to a residence off East Pittsburg Church Road approximately 1 mile north of London on Friday afternoon August 7, 2020 at approximately 3:25 PM.
Both Sheriffs report that following their investigation, seven individuals were arrested at the residence off East Pittsburg Church Road after approximately 1/2 pound of Crystal Meth was found at that residence.
Some of the arrested individuals were from Louisville, Kentucky while others were from Laurel County and Bell County.
The arrested individuals were identified as:
The home owner – Michelle L. Spurlock age 48 of E. Pittsburg Church Rd., London charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
Alan Ramsey age 48 of Rupert Ln., London charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – 1st degree – first offense more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
Tony Ramsey age 45 of E. Pittsburg Church Rd., London charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
Dustin G. Goosetree age 28 of E. Pittsburg Church Rd., London charged with:
- trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
David Jackson age 41 of Wildwood Trail, Pineville, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
Amanda C. Vanmeter age 34 of Larchmont Ave., Louisville, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
Deandre L. Coffman age 31 of Algonquin, Louisville, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine
