LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Hobie Daugherty along with Deputy James Fox and Deputy Hunter Disney arrested Burlin Reed age 50 of London early Friday morning January 1, 2021 at approximately 2:30 AM.
The arrest occurred off Haley Ridge Road, approximately 3 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly this subject had punched a female subject in the back of the head and had placed her arm around behind her back and grabbed her by the throat.
Burlin Reed was charged with:
- Assault – 4th Degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
