LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Robert Reed arrested Steven Owens age 20 of London on Thursday morning January 14, 2021 at approximately 10:23 AM.
The arrest occurred off Burnett Road, approximately 7 miles west of London, Ky. after an individual was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant.
Steven Owens was charged with:
- Sexual abuse – First-degree – Victim under 12 years of age
- Four counts of Sodomy – First-degree – Vctim under 12 years of age
- Rape – First-degree – Victim under the age of 12
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
