LONDON, KY (January 29, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor arrested two individuals early Friday morning January 29, 2021 at approximately 12:07 AM.
The arrests occurred on West Cumberland Gap Parkway approximately 10 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a vehicle for a traffic violation.
During the stop, occupants were found in possession of:
- Hypodermic syringes
- Suspected Methamphetamine
- A loaded hypodermic syringe
- A metal spoon and bottle cap containing a crystal like substance
One individual was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The two arrested individuals were identified as:
Bryan Keith McKeehan age 42 of Early St., Corbin, KY charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
In addition, this subject was charged on a Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana
Terry L. Petrey age 56 of Carolina Ave., Corbin, KY charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
