LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Michael David Young age 37 of Mobley Bend Rd., Corbin early Tuesday morning March 2, 2021 at approximately 2:10 AM.

The arrest occurred at a business off Highway 312 approximately 10 miles South of London after this subject was found in possession of:

  • A large amount of a crystal like substance suspected to be Methamphetamine
  • Digital scales
  • US currency
  • Suspected Xanax

Michael David Young was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
