LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Travis Napier along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Tommy L. Robinson age 51 of London on Friday night May 28, 2021 at approximately 9:07 PM.
The arrest occurred off Old Way School Road, approximately 2 miles east of London after this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court warrant of arrest obtained by Sgt. Mehler charging:
- Strangulation – first-degree
- Two counts of wanton endangerment – first-degree
- Theft by unlawful taking
- Assault – 4th degree
- Terroristic threatening – third-degree
- Unlawful imprisonment – first-degree
The arrest was regarding an alleged incident which occurred on May 19, 2021 investigated by Sgt. Mehler involving a female victim and her unborn child and her 19-year-old nephew.
Tommy Robinson was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
