LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Brent France arrested Richard Kilgore age 46 of John R. Jones Rd., London on Tuesday night June 22, 2021 at approximately 9:16 PM.
The arrest occurred off Hanes Baker Road, approximately 8 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a shooting complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located a black Dodge Ram pickup there and conducted an investigation finding an occupant of the vehicle in possession of:
- Suspected Methamphetamine
- Hypodermic needles
- A metal spoon
- A tourniquet band
- Digital scales
No one shooting there was located.
Richard Kilgore was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
